Kris White

WBA founder. Recognized as a NPA-certified pitching coach.

"Kris White graduated from Central Valley High School in 1999. During his tenure, Kris accomplished several academic and athletic milestones. He lettered all three years in football while earning honors as 1st Team All-State, 1st Team All-GSL, and 1st Team Academic All-State. Kris was also acknowledged as Team Captain and Most Inspirational, and started left guard throughout the 1997 state championship season. For his junior year, Kris lettered in Track and Field, placing 7th in the Regional Shot Put competition. During his senior baseball year, Kris accumulated a 5-1 mark on the mound and was second in the league in strikeouts. For these efforts, he received 1st Team All-GSL and 1st Team Academic All-GSL honors. Also in his senior year, Kris captured the Male Scholar Athlete Award at Central Valley. After high school, Kris played baseball one year at Washington State University, one season at Spokane Falls Community College, and graduated from Gonzaga University after serving two seasons as a Bulldogs' relief pitcher. He received his Business Administration degree, concentrating in Finance, in 2004 with a 3.4 GPA. The next two baseball seasons, Kris found himself as the pitching coach with Whitworth College while acquiring his Master's in International Management. He graduated with his masters in 2006 posting a 3.7 GPA. During the summers of 2005 and 2006, Kris played independent baseball for both the Central League (Jackson Senators) and the Frontier League (Florence Freedom and Chillicothe Paints). In addition to successfully coaching the Whitworth Pirates to a school-low ERA season, Kris has worked with the prominent coaches such as Tom House and Pete Wilkinson. During this time, Kris has been and continues to be recognized as a NPA-certified pitching coach."
